Sunday Elementary Worship :: 9:00 & 10:45 AM
Children’s Bible Quizzing :: 6:00 PM
HOPE Groups for Kids :: 7:00 PM
Elementary Worship begins each Sunday in the auditorium where the kids gather with their families for a time of worship. During the service Pastor Sarah will dismiss the 1st‐5th graders to Children’s Church, which consist of Large Group and Small Group time.
During Large Group, the 1st‐5th graders will hear an age appropriate message. Each message is given from The Big God Story, which strives to share the Bible’s content in the context of its original storyline. By putting each story in content of the main story we can begin to elevate Jesus, the Redeemer, to His rightful place in the storyline. As kids catch a glimpse of God’s wonderful story, they will learn that they too are being invited to play a part in the story that He is still writing today.
After the message, the kids break out into Small Groups, where they spend time reflecting and responding to the message through discussion, games, and other fun activities!
Each Wednesday night our elementary kids meet for “HOPE Groups for Kids.” These 3 groups have a consistent small group atmosphere‐ same leaders, same kids, and same day/time each week‐ in order to help kids build relationships with each other, their leaders, and most importantly, with God. Each group uses curriculum that revisits what the kids learned the previous Sunday in Children’s Church in order to help them grow deeper in their understanding and walk with God.
